The location is perfect for exploring the stunning countryside and going on family hikes. We discovered picturesque trails like Green Valley Path and Robin Hood Way, which the kids absolutely loved! The cottage itself was spacious, well-equipped, and provided a comfortable stay for our large family. With dedicated parking and easy access to shops, bars, and restaurants in Selby, we had everything we needed for a memorable trip. Plus, the frequent bus service to York was a bonus, allowing us to explore the city without any hassle. Highly recommended for a family holiday!
For dads, it would be great to have a larger dining area instead of sitting at the breakfast bar.

The cottage was massive, perfect for our squad! And it had all the essentials for our lit vacation. We hiked through stunning landscapes and jammed to sick tunes in Selby, where there were loads of bars and restaurants. Plus, the bus to York ran late, so we partied all night!
If there's one thing we'd ask for, it's a sick party room at Mary's. We were super hyped for some late-night fun, but there wasn't a dedicated space for it.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. It was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities necessary for a holiday. The view from the window while washing up was absolutely stunning. We were pleased to find dedicated parking and it was easy to find the location. Selby was just a short drive away, offering plenty of shops, bars, and restaurants. We also discovered a frequent bus service from Selby to York, which was convenient for exploring the area. The cottage itself was spacious and well-provisioned, suitable for a longer stay. We especially enjoyed the separate garden with seating, allowing us to relax and enjoy the sunset with a cup of tea or a beer. Highly recommended.

We were not fond of sitting at the breakfast bar to eat our meals. It felt a bit uncomfortable and didn't provide the relaxed dining experience we were hoping for.

Loved having a garden with a barbecue, perfect for grilling marshmallows and pretending to be a master chef. Free private parking was a dream, felt like a VIP. So close to Trinity Leeds and Harrogate, practically already planning my next shopping spree and spa retreat.
Oh, sitting at a breakfast bar to eat meals was just delightful, said no one ever.
